Have you ever find yourself wanting to add some chorusing effect, some pulsing tremolo effect, phasing, or flanging to your sound but do not want to buy individual pedals for each of these effects since you will be using them only occasionally? This was what we had in mind for a long time, and so we set out to design an all-in-one modulation processor unit that provides all the essential bread-and-butter modulation effects, plus some other 'exotic' ones.
This simple concept grew to a much more ambitious design that delivers unusual and cool features and capabilities not found in other multi-modulation boxes. Despite all the sophistication, we never lost sight of our original vision : a powerful yet easy to use multi-modulation processor that provides the feel of individual stompboxes.
Concept : Two independent processors engines integrated into a solid multi Modulation / Filter effects unit. Sporting 14 modulation and filter algorithms, this compact unit delivers up to 49 series-combined effects and 49 parallel-combined effects. Wavelogic MKII offers hand-tuned high quality studio-grade algorithms with very intuitive user interface and unparalleled ease of use.
Presets : You can save up to 40 presets - no knobs tweaking in live performance.
Series / Parallel configuration : 2 effects can be engaged simultaneously, and they can be stacked one after another (series), or routed to independent output channel (parallel)
FX-Loop : A dedicated effect loop allows you to place an external effect processor right after DSP-X processing - this may come in handy as DSP-X contains a number of dynamics-controlled filter algorithms which work best before overdrive / distortion effects.
MIDI Access : External control of Wavelogic MKII is provided via MIDI In / MIDI Thru ports. Nearly all functions can be accessed via MIDI, including expression pedal control and tap tempo.
